“Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature’s peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop away from you like the leaves of Autumn.”
-John Muir
Nestled in Grandfather Mountain State Park is a 1-mile gem of a trail. Cragway is located between the Daniel Boone and Nuwati Trails. It is a slightly moderate hike, rising 700 feet before reaching the Flat Rock View. The beauty of this trail is the five rock vistas, with long views of Grandfather Mountain and valley below.

Beautiful photos. Classic trail views, and a great rock outcropping. And I love those ‘tunnel’ views!
